Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this website or participate in training services. By participating, you confirm that you are the legal owner or authorized guardian of the dog or dogs involved.

Services provided

Southern Hounds provides dog training services, consultations, and educational content. Training results vary by dog and handler. No specific outcome is guaranteed.

Assumption of risk

Dog training involves inherent risks, including dog bites or scratches, property damage, emotional or physical stress, and injuries to participants or dogs. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with dog training and related activities.

Release of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Southern Hounds LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, trainers, volunteers, and representatives from any claims, injuries, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of participation in training. This includes claims arising from ordinary negligence, but does not apply to intentional or reckless misconduct.

Indemnification

You are responsible for your conduct, your dog's behavior, and the conduct of anyone accompanying you. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Southern Hounds LLC from any claims or damages caused by you, your dog, or your guests during or after training.

No guarantee of results

Training success depends on handler consistency and follow-through. Dogs learn at different rates. No guarantee of behavior change is made. Recommendations of tools or services are not guarantees of outcome.

Client communication responsibility

You agree to remain responsive to communication from Southern Hounds. If you fail to respond within 48 hours, missed sessions may be forfeited, sessions are non-refundable, and services may be terminated without refund if communication issues persist.

Payment authorization

By booking services, you authorize Southern Hounds LLC to charge your payment method on file for agreed services. You agree to contact us directly before disputing any charges and to maintain accurate payment information.

Cancellation and refund policy

• Cancellations or rescheduling require 24 hours notice.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.
• After the first session, training packages are non-refundable.
• Unused sessions may be transferred or credited at trainer discretion only.

Photo and media release

Unless otherwise requested in writing, you grant Southern Hounds permission to photograph or record you and your dog, and use media for educational, marketing, or promotional purposes. You may request not to be photographed or recorded at any time.

Website use and intellectual property

All website content, including text, images, logos, and videos, is the property of Southern Hounds LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without written permission.

Disclaimer

This website and all services are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties regarding accuracy of content, continuous availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of the site and services is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Southern Hounds LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
