The plan a trainer actually uses

Four guides, each one built the same way: photos, numbered steps, a printable day-by-day plan, and daily text check-ins from the trainer who wrote it. Written by Southern Hounds, a balanced training company in the Carolinas. ★★★★★ 5.0 on Google.

Which one do I need

Start with the thing that is actually broken.

The first 30 days covers the whole month at a chapter each. The other three take one of those chapters and turn it into a full guide. If you just adopted, start with the first 30 days. If one specific thing is wrecking your week, get that one.

Get the first 30 days if

You just adopted, or you are about to, and you want the whole month mapped out before the dog walks in the door.

Get crate if

Nobody in the house has slept in nine days, or you cannot leave without something getting destroyed.

Get potty if

There is a spot on the rug you have cleaned four times, or the shelter said house trained and the shelter was wrong.

Get the walk if

You have started walking at 6am so you do not have to see anybody, or you have quietly stopped walking altogether.

Who wrote them

A trainer who does this every week

Southern Hounds is a balanced dog training company in the Carolinas. We train in the real world: parks, hardware stores, sidewalks, front doors. These guides are the plans we hand our own clients, written down so you have them at 10pm on night one.

Questions

Before you buy

What exactly do I get?

A PDF you can read on your phone or print, delivered by a download link the second you check out, plus a run of short daily text check-ins that follow the printable plan in that guide. Nothing is mailed and nothing is a subscription.

Do the guides overlap?

A little, on purpose. The first 30 days gives each topic a chapter so the month hangs together. Crate, potty, and the walk each take one of those chapters and go three times deeper: more steps, more problems, and a longer printable plan.

Is this balanced training?

Yes. Clear structure, clear rewards, clear feedback. Nothing in any of the four guides requires a tool, and the tools chapter tells you honestly what belongs in a trainer's hands before yours.

Puppy or adult?

Both, in all four. Where age changes the plan, the guide gives you the version for each rather than pretending one schedule fits an eight-week-old puppy and a four-year-old rescue.

Can you train my dog?

Only if you're near us. We train in person in the Upstate of South Carolina, the Charlotte area, and Asheville, and the first consultation is free. If you're anywhere else, the guides and the check-ins are how we help.

Refunds?

They're digital downloads, so they can't be returned. If something is wrong with your file, text 864-387-5552 and we'll fix it.
